Man shot in drive-by

Colorado Springs police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened nearthe intersection of East Fountain Boulevard and S Chelton Road.

According to the police, a man with a gunshot wound drove himself to the hospital around 10:30 last night.

He told police he was walking near the intersection when a white sedan drove past him and an unknown person inside the sedan shot him. The victim could not provide a description of the shooter or accomplices.

Police said the victim’s injury is not life threatening.
