Colorado drought plan up for revision

Colorado’s drought plan is coming up for review.

The Colorado Water Conservation Board updates its drought plan every three years and another revision is due this fall.

According to the Durango Herald, the board is trying to come up with a plan to deal with a drought that is affecting all 64 counties in Colorado. The problem is mildest on the Front Range and worst on the southeastern plains, which are in the throes of an exceptional drought, the worst category.
