School custodian accused of Internet luring of a child
An Elizabeth Middle School custodian is accused of meeting underage girls on the Internet and trying to have sex with them.
Michael Petramala, 53, was taken into custody on Friday. Elbert County Sheriff’s deputies executed a warrant at Petramala’s home in the town of Elizabeth.
Investigators said that Petramala was trying to meet and have sex with two girls under the age of 15 whom he met on the Internet and through social media.
Petramala had detailed explicit sexual activities that he was planning with the juveniles and had agreed to bring alcohol and lingerie, investigators said.
The Sheriff’s Office said members of the Elizabeth School district cooperated fully with the investigation and were helpful throughout the process. ECSO officials went on to say that Petramala admitted he was responsible for attempting to lure the juveniles to a location in Elbert County for the purpose of sex.
