El Paso County is doing its yearly recycling services to dispose of natural/grown Christmas trees. There are seven different Treecycle drop off locations.

The designated Treecycle sites will run on two consecutive weekends. They are Saturday and Sunday, December 29 and 30, 2012 and January 5 and 6, 2013. Each weekend the services will be offered from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Here are the seven locations:

Baptist Road Trailhead: Baptist Road & Old Denver Highway

Falcon Trailhead: Southwest of Woodmen Road & McLaughlin Road

Cottonwood Creek Park: Dublin Blvd & Montarbor Drive,

Sky Sox Stadium: Barnes Rd & Tutt Blvd.

Rock Ledge Ranch: Gateweay Rd (to Garden of the Gods) & 30th St.

Memorial Park: Pikes Peak Ave & Union Blvd.

Rocky Top Resources: 1755 East Last Vegas St.

Rocky Top Resources will have extended days for Treecycling from December 26-31, 2012 and January 2, 31, 2013, It will be closed on Sundays. The hours will be 8 a.m. till 4 pm, Monday-Saturday.

A tax deductible minimum donation of five dollars per tree will be used to support, Colorado Springs Youth Sports, Inc. and the El Pomar Youth Sports Park for sports programs throughout El Paso County.
