Man, woman robbed at gunpoint in downtown Colo. Springs

According to Colorado Springs Police, a man and woman were robbed at gunpoint in downtown Colorado Springs on Friday night.

Police said it happened just before midnight near the intersection of E. St. Vrain St. and N. Tejon St.

According to officers, a man armed with a gun approached a man and woman who were walking northbound on Tejon St. from behind.

Police said the man threatened the two victims and demanded their wallets and jewelry.

He left the area on foot with valuables. He is described as a black man in his early 30s. He was wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black shoes.
