Escapee caught in Ordway

Crowley County sheriff’s deputies caught an escaped prisoner Saturday night in Ordway.

Officers say 28-year-old Clayton Freshour was caught at KJ’s grocery store after a short foot chase.

Freshour had escaped about 3 weeks ago.

He was wanted on felony warrants out of Otero County, including domestic violence.

Officers say he was taken without incident.
