Sexually Violent Predator Moves To Springs

Colorado Springs Police is notifying the community that a “Sexually Violent Predator” (SVP) has moved to an address within CSPD’s jurisdiction.

22-year-old Xeryus Georgia Casias will be on supervised release and probation. He is residing at 3033 East Platte Ave. #205. Casias is a Hispanic male, 5’7″ tall, 175 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. His photo is accompanied with this article.

Casias’ criminal history reveals that he was convicted of Sexual Assault on a Child in 2011 in El Paso County. He has also been convicted twice of Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol, False Information, Shoplifting, Obstruction of a Peace Officer, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Misdemeanor Theft, and Driving Under the Influence.

Casias is one of ten SVPs registered with the CSPD.

CSPD says that it takes his presence in our community very seriously and is intent on insuring he conducts himself in a lawful manner and that our citizens remain safe and aware.
