Fatal crash northbound I-25 at Woodmen Road
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A serious crash along northbound I-25 at Woodmen Road had police diverting northbound traffic Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials, the crash happened just before 5:30 p.m. between North Nevada and Woodmen. Colorado Springs police say a pickup truck was pulling a trailer when it lost control, hitting another vehicle.
One of the drivers died on scene.
Serious traffic accident north bound on I-25 at Woodman Rd. I-25 will be diverted at the North Nevada exit. Please avoid the area and select an alternative route.

The crash brought northbound track shut for miles, and the traffic remained for hours following the crash. Northbound traffic on I-25 was diverted at the North Nevada exit.
According to CDOT, northbound I-25 completely reopened at 10:56 p.m.
