Couple Found Dead At Colorado Springs Home

Colorado Springs police are investigating after two bodies were found at a home on Highland Street in Colorado Springs.

Police were called to the home at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday and found the couple in the mid to late 60’s dead in their home.

Investigators said they are trying to determine if the case is a murder-suicide.

“All the information we got is that this was an isolated incident. We’re not looking for anybody outside of the people we’re talking to right now. We don’t anticipate there is any danger to the community at all, ” said Sft. Tim Stankey of the Colorado Springs police.

The names of the couple have not been released.

Neighbors said the couple was planning to move.

The deaths are something neighbors said they didn’t expect.

“It makes me sad that someone is right across the street from me that is in that kind of shape,” said Elizabeth Albritton.
