Fire Heavily Damages Pueblo Home

Investigators are at a Pueblo home Wednesday trying to determine what caused a serious fire Tuesday night.

The fire started a little before 8:00 p.m. in the 2200 block of W.15th St.

Pueblo firefighters say the fire was fully involved when they arrived. No one was in the home at the time but the home was heavily damaged.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, however, investigators say power to the home had been cut off and the homeowner was getting power from an extension cord run from a neighbor’s house. The homeowner was also using camping lanterns inside the home. Investigators are looking into these factors as they determine the exact cause.
