Downtown Streets Re-open after Gas Line Break

Traffic is back to normal after construction crews hit a gas line in downtown Colorado Springs on Wednesday morning. Road crews hit a 1 inch gas line while working in the area of Platte and Cascade.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department Hazardous Materials units clamped the line after just a few minutes and re-opened the area.

A part of Cascade remains closed while road crews continue their work.
