A Fremont County Man Pleads Guilty To Starting 3 Fires
A Fremont County man is facing up to 12 years in the Department of Corrections in connection to three fires.
Kurt Matthew MacFarlane, 40 pled guilty to one count of criminal mischief resulting in more than $20,000, said Assistant Fremont County District Attorney Kathy Eberling.
The plea encompasses two arson fires that happened in Fremont County on Oct. 1, Oct. 5 and another incident on Dec.31 that damaged a car.
Under the agreement the maximum prison term Macfarlane can face is 12 years, said Eberling.
A co-defendant, Brandon Nash, is expected to enter a plea Thursday afternoon.
