Semi & SUV Collide On I-25
A man is in critical condition at Memorial hospital after a serious accident on I-25 at Circle Drive.
According to police, a Chevy Blazer hit the back of a Waste Management truck on the southbound ramp exiting the highway.
The driver of the Chevy Blazer had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital.
A woman nearby told KRDO Newschannel 13 that she saw the accident happen and ran over to help.
She said the man was bleeding on his face, but was talking and breathing. The woman said he asked her to help find his cell phone so he could call his family.
The victim’s family arrived on scene a short time later. One family member said the man is in his 40s.
