Wanted Sex Offender Person Of Interest In Pueblo County Murder

EL PASO COUNTY – A wanted sex offender is now a person of interest in the December 10 homicide in Pueblo County.

30-year-old Matthew Adam Barnes hastwo warrants out of El Paso County for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. He is also a person of interest in the homicide of Robert Piserchio that occurred in Pueblo County.

Barnes, who is also known as Matthew Green is a white male 5’10”, brown hair, blue eyes. He is known to have driven a silver Saturn with CO license plate 757JVG in the past and may reside in El Paso County.

Law Enforcement Bureau Chief Charlene Graham said, “there is a possibility he may have some information and we would like to talk to him.”

Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor is seeking the help of Pueblo and El Paso County citizens who may have information on the whereabouts of this wanted person.
