??Tent City’ Resident Pulls Knife During Fight Outside Wal-Mart

COLORADO SPRINGS – Police arrested a man suspected of pulling out a knife during a fight outside Wal-Mart Monday night.

Police report that two homeless males had a verbal altercation behind the Wal-Mart on 707 S. 8th Street. During the incident the suspect pulled a Buck knife, pointed it at the victim and told him if he returned to the camp he would be killed. The victim described the male as a white male about 34 years of age, 5’7″, and 175 lbs. The victim ran to safety and was uninjured.

Police located the suspect, Byron Crone, at a camp near Cimarron and I-25, where he was arrested and taken to CJC.
