COLORADO SPRINGS – James Dobson takes a stand between presidential hopefuls.
John McCain and Barack Obama are trying to focus on energy policybut controversial remarks by the founder of Focus On The Familyare stealing attention away from their message,
“Lowest common denominator of morality,” “a fruitcake interpretation of the constitution.”
Dobson made those comments on his radio show, accusing Obama of distorting the bible. Citing a 2006 speech by the presumptive democratic nominee. Still, Dobson has never endorsed John McCainand has even publicly questioned the republican’s conservative credentials.
