COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Police are investigating after six businesses were robbed in town since Saturday.
The string of robberies started with two Saturday night.

Less than an hour later, the Cavendar's western outfitter on S Carefree was robbed in the same way.
A few hours after that, around 1:00 Sunday morning, the Wendy's on W Colorado was robbed by someone with a taser. Nearby business owners told us they're not surprised to hear about crime in the area.
"I get a little frightened if we're here late working into the night," said Lexi Pysniak with Pomodoro's Deli. "You hear a lot of things and because it gets so dark out you can’t really see what’s going on."
The next morning there was another robbery. Around 2:30 a.m. Monday, witnesses say a woman, and a man with a gun, took cash and merchandise from the Kum and Go on N Carefree.
Police told KRDO it's too early in the investigation to know, but they're actively considering whether any of these robberies are connected.
