Pueblo deputies seek man wanted on felony arrest warrant
Pueblo County deputies are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 39-year-old Jeremy Ryan Sisson for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Wednesday night, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office Saturday.
Deputies responded to a residence on Cerna Verde Road in Rye at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday on a report that a 61-year-old woman had been assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. When deputies arrived, they found a woman being treated by Rye Fire personnel for serious injuries she sustained in the assault.
The woman told deputies that Sisson broke into her home Wednesday night, began assaulting her, and forced her to remain in the home until she was finally able to get away on Thursday afternoon and call for help.
Deputies searched the home, property, and surrounding area for Sisson but weren’t able to locate him. They are continuing to search the Greenhorn Mountain area, where he is believed to be hiding out.
Sisson is described as 6′ 4″ tall, 225 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is considered to be armed and dangerous, as the victim reported he has a handgun.
Sisson is being sought on a multiple felony warrants, to include felony domestic violence, in
connection to the incident. Anyone with information on Sisson’s whereabouts is asked to contact
