SNOW CONTINUES OVERNIGHT

cool tomorrow

An early season winter storm will impact southern Colorado through Wednesday afternoon with periods of strong winds and heavy snow.

Colorado Springs 2-5"
Briargate        3-6"
Monument         4-8"
Woodland Park    4-8"
Pikes Peak       8-14"
Pueblo           Trace-2"
Wetmore          4-8"
Canon City       3-6"
Colorado City    3-6"

TONIGHT: Again, the snow totals listed above are through 10 AM on Wednesday. We are expecting periods of snow to continue through the overnight hours and into the Wednesday morning commute. Freeze warnings are also in effect for tonight. Temps in the low 20's for Woodland Park and below freezing for Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Plan now that roads may be hazardous for the Wednesday morning commute with overnight low falling into the upper twenties and the snow continuing through sunrise.  Snow will eventually give way to snow showers as we head later into the day on Wednesday.

EXTENDED: Chilly temperatures through the mid-week with highs on Wednesday afternoon climbing into the 40's. As high pressure build heading into the weekend we'll see more sunshine and afternoon temps gradually climbing into 70s by Saturday.
