COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for help identifying a robbery suspect involved in the following robberies:

May 27, 2020 – Subway Restaurant, 4435 Centennial Boulevard

May 31, 2020 – Marco’s Pizza, 4935 Centennial Boulevard

June 8, 2020 – Subway Restaurant, 1714 South Circle Drive

June 9, 2020 – 7 Eleven, 201 West Fillmore Street

In all cases, the suspect wore a blue surgical mask, latex gloves, held the handgun in his left hand, and had a plastic bag to take the cash. The gun used in all the cases is described as a black semi-automatic handgun with a silver slide.

Lt. Jim Sokolik with CSPD said, “Based on the way the suspect was dressed, based on his mannerisms we believe those are all the same suspect in those four robberies.”

Police said the suspect is a white male, in his early to mid 20s, 5’05” to 5’06” tall, with a slim build and brown hair and brown eyes.

“Anytime somebody is armed during crime there is a danger to our citizens even a danger to that suspect. But anytime somebody brings a gun to a violent crime we are very concerned for the welfare of our citizens,” said Lt. Sokolik.

Anyone with information or is a witness to this investigation is asked to call the Colorado Springs police department immediately at (719) 444-7000.
