Threat prompts extra security at Palmer High School
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Extra security will be present at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs Monday, after District 11 was made aware of a threat.
Several Safe2Tell tips were made to D-11 Sunday night. Those tips suggest a threat was posted to Snapchat. The district worked with Colorado Springs Police and identified the source of the post. At this time it's not believed the threat is credible.
District representatives tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that, out of an abundance of caution, student IDs will be checked.
