Crowds and police clash in second night of Denver protests
DENVER (KRDO) -- For the second night in a row, protesters and police clashed in the streets of downtown Denver amid calls for justice for a black man who died in police custody earlier this week.
The death of George Floyd, a Minnesota man who died after an officer knelt on his neck, has sparked protests throughout the country.
In Denver, a mostly peaceful protest Friday erupted into more riots involving vandalism, destruction, tear gas and projectiles. Some people were seen spray-painting a statue near the Capitol steps.
