A mild Halloween before the rain settles in

KRDO

Halloween: A foggy start to the morning, but once the sun comes up temperatures warm up to a high of 64 in Colorado Springs. As the sun goes down temps slowly decline into the 40s.

A few scattered showers pop up across the western high country. Overall conditions stay mostly cloudy and dry.

Tomorrow: For Sunday heavier precipitation begins to hit the west, starting as early as 2 am. These heavy rain and snow showers are leading to Flood Watches for the southwest area until Monday morning and a Winter Storm Watch for the San Juans above 10,000 feet elevation until Monday morning. 7"-14" of snow is possible on the San Juans by Monday morning.

Scattered light rainfall passes over I-25 and into El Paso County from 7-9 am. More showers return through the evening and this time lightning and thunder are more likely.

Monday: Some of the heaviest rain hits I-25. Colder temperatures also bring the lower snow levels around 7,000 feet elevation.
