Two juveniles arrested for gun possession in Colorado Springs disturbance

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Two juveniles were arrested after Colorado Springs police say they found them in possession of guns following a reported disturbance involving multiple people in separate vehicles on Oct. 20.

Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) says they responded to a report of a disturbance between multiple people in separate vehicles near the 3900 block of Constitution Ave.

CSPD says once on scene, they learned that a runaway juvenile was involved with one of the groups.

Using a drone, police say they located a second group leaving the area in a vehicle occupied by four individuals. CSPD says one juvenile in this group was taken into custody due to having a gun.

Another juvenile ran from the vehicle, dropping a gun in the process, before later surrendering and being taken into custody, according to law enforcement. This suspect was also charged with having a gun, police say.
