More showers likely tomorrow and Wednesday

Today: Monday will be overall less severe and dry than what we saw over the weekend. However, we are still tracking the chance for showers and thunderstorms at time. After 5 pm Colorado Springs could get a small shower and eastern El Paso County could get hit with a small thunderstorm. The Aspen Acres burn scar should stay mostly dry but could see some light rainfall.

High temperatures for Colorado Springs will be in the mid-80s. Pueblo is hitting the low 90s and staying in the 90s for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow: Tuesday brings some of the warmest weather of the week. Colorado Springs could reach the low 90s with Pueblo hitting 98 and La Junta and Lamar hitting triple digits.

Thunderstorms after 3 pm look to hit El Paso County with some heavy rainfall. The best chance for the Aspen Acres burn scar area is after 9 pm. small scattered showers continue across southern Colorado through the evening.

Wednesday: By the middle of the week severe weather and thunderstorms will be much more likely for all of Southern Colorado.
