Hot, windy and hazy with a high fire danger

Today we will see partly cloudy skies with patchy smoke in the area. We will have breezy conditions with high near 90 degrees. We do have a Red Flag Warning because of a high fire danger in a large part of Southern Colorado and the High Country. That will be in place until 10 P.M. Expect breezy conditions, along with warm and dry weather.

Patchy smoke will remain in the air on Tuesday, with highs in the upper 80s. Another Red Flag Warning will be in effect for most of Southern Colorado and the High Country for Tuesday from 10 A.M. through 10 P.M.

Temperatures will warm up Wednesday through Friday, with mostly clear skies and highs in the lower 90s. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for a good portion of Southern Colorado for Wednesday from 10 A.M. through 10 P.M.

The Fourth of July should feature mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 90s.

We will keep the warm and dry weather for Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s.
