TODAY: Severe storm chances return Friday afternoon and evening, with isolated thunderstorms that could produce damaging hail and damaging wind across the Plains. Temps warm a few degrees to the mid 80's in Colorado Springs and low to mid 90s across the Arkansas River Valley.

TOMORROW: We're tracking mid to high 90s with a few PM showers and thunderstorms (which could become severe) across lower lying areas. Fire danger will likely become more widespread again Saturday due to gustier winds.

EXTENDED: Hot temps and a few PM storms stick around through Sunday/Father's Day. Showers and storms become more widespread Monday on the back end of a cold front that will drop temperatures a few degrees back to the 80s in many lower lying areas.
