COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The public is being asked to come out for the funeral for a veteran who has no local family.

Retired Air Force Staff Sergeant Clyde Baldwin served from 1950 to 1970. He recently passed away at the age of 91. We're told he has an elderly sister in Oklahoma who is unable to travel for the funeral. Baldwin never married and has no family of his own.

The burial is set for Friday, February 7, at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 10545 Drennan Rd. in Colorado Springs. The ceremony is set to begin at 9 a.m., but cemetery officials ask that everyone arrive by 8:30.
