WATCH: Road Warrior catches semi crash on camera while reporting on conditions

MONUMENT, Colo. (KRDO) - Drivers are seeing major slowing NB on I-25 this morning due to a crash involving a semi on Monument Hill.

The crash was captured on camera by KRDO13's very own Road Warrior crew.

Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said that ultimately three vehicles were involved in the crash. Officials say there were no injuries. CSP said no tickets were being issued at the time of the crash. However, on Friday, Nov. 29, CSP said the driver of the black pickup would be cited for careless driving.

It has been a slow drive all morning in both directions between Colorado Springs and Denver. Scott Harrison, KRDO13's Road Warrior, is in Monument right now and says the interstate is seeing a combination of snow and slush.

As on 11 a.m., traffic over Monument Hill was at a complete standstill.

The Road Warrior says there was also an earlier crash also on northbound I-25 involving a jack-knifed semi. That one was just south of the Greenland exit in Douglas County. Both crashes were within a few miles of each other.

Be prepared to add extra time to your drive, especially if you are traveling north.
