WEATHER ALERT: Moderate to Heavy Snow Next Few Days

TONIGHT: Moderate to heavy snow continues tonight with overnight lows in the 20's and low 30's. Roads will be partially to mostly covered with areas of reduced visibility due to blowing snow and gusty winds.

WEDNESDAY:

Moderate to heavy snow continues through the morning commute then a break in snow from Colorado Springs to Pueblo; however, snow will continue intermittently for portions of the Palmer Divide, Teller and Northern El Paso county through the early to late afternoon.

If you get caught in one of these bands Wednesday afternoon...expect blowing snow producing whiteout conditions, reduced visibility and roads to become coated quickly.

WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: Snow showers picking back up through the evening and overnight with more steady snowfall by Thursday morning and lasting through Friday afternoon. This could mean an additional 5-9" for portions of El Paso county and Teller county.

EXTENDED: Snow clearing out and wrapping up by the weekend with highs back in the 50's
