Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna among 5 killed in helicopter crash, sources say
CALABASAS, Calif. -- Kobe Bryant, a Los Angeles Lakers legend, is dead following a helicopter crash in California, a source confirmed to ESPN.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. local time Sunday, reported ABC News. The Sikorsky S-76 helicopter crashed under unknown circumstances, killing all five people aboard.
ESPN is also reporting that Bryant's 13-year-old daughter was aboard and died in the crashed.
Bryant was 41 years old.
Few details are known at this time.
