Deputies investigate shots fired at house party in Green Mountain Falls

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at Green Mountain Falls. That’s about ten minutes southeast of Woodland Park.

Early Sunday Morning, the Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 10500 block of Ute Pass Avenue. When they arrived, deputies learned there was a house party with lots of people attending.

They say during the party, two groups had a fight and one group left the party, came back and fired shots in the direction of the house.

Then deputies say someone near the home then fired shots back at the original shooters.

No one was taken to the hospital and at this time no victims have been reported. The Sheriff’s Office will continue their investigation but say there is no threat to the public.
