El Paso County K-9 passes away

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced the passing of one of its K-9 dogs.

K-9 Axel died on Saturday with “family by his side,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Axel began serving with the sheriff’s office in May 2010 and helped in numerous narcotics cases before he was medically retired on March 31, 2018.
