Crews search for missing Colorado Springs woman in Rio Grande river

The Search and Rescue team with the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to search for a missing woman who fell into the Rio Grande river on June 15.

The woman has been identified as Roberta Sophia Rodriguez of Colorado Springs.

According to the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, water levels have sustained dangerously high levels since the incident, which has complicated the search effort.

In a video posted by the Sheriff’s Office, it shows fast-moving water near the area Rodriguez fell in.
