Crews battle small fire near Fountain Creek

Fountain firefighters are currently keeping an eye on a small wildfire that’s been contained near Fountain Creek.

Crews were called to Columbine St. and Clearview Dr. Tuesday night, and quickly got the flames contained to an area that has a lot of trees that fell after a flood. The fire burned an area of about 50 feet by 20 feet.

At this time there’s no report of any damage. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
