Stormy skies ahead – 6/7/19
TODAY: Sunshine and a few clouds are in the forecast for the first half of the day before clouds thicken up around lunchtime. At this point in the day, a few showers are possible, with storms developing after 2-3PM today. One or two could be strong and would likely produce some hail and gusty winds. Highs today will be warm and will make it into the 80s and 90s. 70s and 60s are expected for our mountain cities and the high country.
TONIGHT: Drying out under a partly cloudy, breezy sky. Lows cool to the 40s and 50s again.
EXTENDED: Saturday looks sunny, hot, dry and breezy. Temperatures climb to the 80s and 90s so make sure you have your water close! It won’t be quite as hot over the mountains, but 70s are still a good bet. Low clouds, rain and storms move in on Sunday which will drop our temps into the 50s and 60s. More storms are likely for Monday before we dry out and warm up on Tuesday.
