Friday Forecast: A little bit warmer and a little less rain – 5/31/19
TODAY: Friday brings lots of sunshine through lunchtime with highs warming into the 70s and 80s. Our mountain cities top off in the 60s today. Clouds start to increase again following noon, with the chance for a stray rain shower through the Pikes Peak Region between 2-4pm. Some of these linger through about 7 or 8pm tonight.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and dry with overnight lows cooling to the 50s and 40s.
EXTENDED: Showers and storms are likely at times over the weekend, with a chance for a strong storm or two on Sunday. Right now the Storm Prediction Center has eastern Colorado under a marginal (lowest) risk for severe weather that day. Monday should be mainly dry before more showers and storms move in for Tuesday. Highs will be in the 60s, 70s and 80s for much of next week.
