Patchy fog and cooler highs – 2/27/19
TODAY: We start the day with a mix of clouds and sunshine today and will stick with that trend for a good part of the daytime. Patchy fog is likely between south Colorado Springs and Pueblo which could slow down driving. Fog won’t be quite as dense through places toward the eastern plains. Cooler air will be locked in around the area today, so temps are only expected to warm to the 40’s. The bulk of the very cold air will be staying out east toward the Kansas border. Overall, today will be feeling a lot different than yesterday.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and cool with temperatures in the 20s and 30s.
EXTENDED: We will be breezy tomorrow and the mild temperatures return. We should stay pretty comfortable through the duration of Friday, until unsettled weather moves in for Friday night into Saturday. This will arrive in the form of cold and snow showers. Another round of more significant snow is likely Sunday into Monday and could linger through Tuesday. We will keep you updated on the timing.
