Florida man claims 3 syringes found in rectum are not his

A Florida man told police the three syringes that were removed from his rectum during a strip search at Pinellas County Jail were not his.

According to WATE, Wesley Dasher Scott, 40, was arrested early Friday on a drug charge and taken to the receiving area of the Pinellas County Jail.

Before being transported to jail, he was searched in a field and eventually taken into custody. At the time of the search, deputies asked if Scott had anything on him, in which he was explained what the consequences would be if he had illegal materials.

During Scott’s strip search, he removed the syringes and gave them to a deputy. He then told deputies they were not his, according to an arrest affidavit.

Scott was charged with felony possession of contraband in a county detention facility, possession of drugs without a prescription with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, and possession of drugs without a prescription.
