Massive Australian steer makes national headlines
A cow in Australia by the name of ‘Knickers’ is getting some national attention.
Coming in at a whopping 3,000 pounds and more than six feet tall, he might just be the largest steer you’ve ever seen.
Ranchers say Knickers is too big to be slaughtered. Knickers was put up for auction last year, but meat processors said they did not have the equipment to handle a cattle of his size.
He’s about seven years old, but believe it or not, he’s not the largest cow ever. That title actually belongs to a 6-foot, 7-inch tall cow in Italy by the name of Bellino.
