Crested Butte Mountain Resort announces opening of Paradise Express lift

CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. (KRDO) -- Following the opening of the Teocalli chairlift last week, Crested Butte have announced the Paradise Express ski-lift has begun spinning as well.

According to the resort, the weekend brought 17 inches of snow, bringing their season-to-date snow total to 72 total inches. Due to this, Crested Butte's mountain operations team anticipates more terrain openings in the near future.

The opening of the Paradise lift brings with it the opening of the Paradise warming house. Located at the base of Paradise Express, the warming house offers food for skiers, in addition to a full bar.
