Fountain police notify public of change in address for ‘Sexually Violent Predator’

The Fountain Police Department wants the public to be aware that a man marked by the Court as a ‘Sexually Violent Predator’ (SVP) has moved his home address.

Under Colorado law, authorities must let the community know his residence, along with several other things, including Hase’s employment, access to vehicles, appearance, etc.

Dennis Eugene Hase, 59, moved his location to 111 N Race Street, Fountain, Colorado 80817. He is described as a white male with white hair and blue eyes. Hase is also around 6’1” tall and 170 pounds.

According to his lengthy criminal history, Hase was convicted of Attempted Sexual Assault – Overcome Victim’s Will in 2006. He has also been convicted of Sexual Assault on a Child in 1989, DWAI in 1987, Criminal Mischief in 1990, DWAI (two cases) in 2003, Assault in 2005, Attempted Burglary in 2006, Domestic Violence Assault in 2015, and a Class B Traffic Infraction in 2015.

The Fountain Police Department says they take his presence in the community very seriously and want to ensure that he conducts himself in a lawful manner to keep the public safe and aware.
