Turn your portrait photos 3 dimensional on Facebook

Facebook pictures just got a lot more realistic for iPhone users. You can now add depth to your portrait photos with the help of the 3-D photo extension.

Just snap a photo while in portrait mode, if you don’t have portrait mode, sorry, you’re out of luck.

Next, open up your Facebook app and type “Facebook 360” into the search bar. Visit the Facebook 360 page and hit the “like” button.

This next step is important – completely close out of the app and force it to quit. When you reopen it, create a new post.

In the create new post section, scroll down to the “3D Photo” button, pick your photo and viola, your picture instantly turns 3 dimensional.

The feature is still fairly new and not available to everyone yet. Facebook hopes to work on 3-D photos for more people without iPhones.
