Crisp and sunny Sunday – 10/27/18

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies are forecasted for southern Colorado overnight. After a beautiful day with breaks of sunshine and warm temperatures, we’ll have a weak and dry cold front sweeping through overnight. It could be breezy at times during the overnight hours. Lows will range in the 30s and 40s.

Tomorrow: It’ll be a crisp morning as you head to brunch and/or church! Grab the light jacket early Sunday. With lots of sunshine, temperatures will likely feel mild into the afternoon. Even still, it will be cooler compared to today. Highs will range in the 60s for most spots. Quiet weather is expected.

Extended: Ahead of our next cold front (overnight Monday into Tuesday), Monday will be breezy and warm. Highs will be above-average, reaching the 70s and 80s! Can you believe it?? Classic Colorado — especially considering our major swing in temperatures by Halloween. By Tuesday afternoon, there will be a rain/snow mix (depending upon the neighborhood). This will be converting to snow Wednesday morning. Some snow accumulation is possible; however, the details and exacts are TBD. While Halloween evening may be relatively drier, it will be COLD for the little trick-or-treaters! Make sure they incorporate the coat with the costume. Our next wave of rain/snow arrives Thursday afternoon, potentially lasting until early Friday. Bottom line: get ready for big changes this upcoming week!
