Beer run caught on camera goes viral

Police in Arlington, Texas, are calling it the textbook definition of a beer run.

A tweet posted by the department shows a man stealing five cases of Bud Light from a convenience store before taking off in a gray Dodge pickup truck.

The pictures show the brazen man pack the cases in his arms, and then he walks out, wide-eyed and clearly in a hurry. Responses from Twitter users didn’t have much in the way of helpful information leading to his arrest, but they were full of laughs.

Here is a textbook definition of a beer run. This beer baron swiped 5 cases from a convenience store in the 5000 block of Little School Road and took off. He left in a Gray Dodge truck. Det. Thompson if you recognize him, 817-459-6054 or email, leonor.thompson@arlingtontx.gov pic.twitter.com/un3So55wB1

But as funny as it is, don’t try to replicate his moves — you don’t want to be the person who ends up in jail over a hundred dollars worth of beer.
