Tracking cold and snow for the holiday weekend

TONIGHT: Clears skies and light winds overnight will provide ideal conditions for radiational cool. Morning lows will dip into the low and mid-20s.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy and warm Wednesday with highs in the mid and upper-60s... and even a few low-70s.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Cold air begins to drop into the region Thanksgiving day and skies become mostly cloudy.

WEATHER ALERT( UPDATE): Thanksgiving night through Friday snow chances still look fairly light to moderate for southern Colorado. This will be a much colder system with highs in the 20's by Friday. Likely a solid 24 hours of light snowfall with a second push of snow Friday night-Saturday

A colder temp profile with this system means some slick travel likely as early as Friday morning
