Dillon Ice Castles returning in December

If it’s anything like last year, tens of thousands of people should be excited by the announcement that the Ice Castles will be returning to Dillon this year.

The large ice sculptures, which reach up to 40 feet high, will be built again in Dillon by the end of the year, a news release said Monday.

Icicles for the sculptures will start being made in late November, and the opening should be within a few weeks after that, though no official date has been set.

Ticket prices haven’t been announced, but they maxed out at $25 last year.
