Man shot through wall inside Colorado Springs motel

Police in Colorado Springs is investigating after someone fired shots through a wall, striking a man.

Officers were called to a motel on the 2800 block of W. Colorado Ave., just after midnight Friday. They found the victim with a gunshot wound to the foot. He told police he was sleeping when he was struck.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
