Crews respond to multiple grass fires in Otero County

Multiple agencies are responding to multiple grass fires in Otero County.

According to the sheriff’s office, three fires broke out in the Cheraw area. One fire was named the Road 33 Fire. It burned approximately 400 acres and is contained.

Another fire is in the area of Highway 10 and Whiterock Road in Pueblo County. It’s moving toward the Otero County Line.
