Warm with a few storms this evening 6-6-18

TONIGHT: A few storms continue this evening, especially near the Kansas border. Elsewhere, cloud cover will keep temperatures very mild through the evening. Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies are expected by the early morning hours with temps in the 50s and 60s.

TOMORROW: Another scorcher tomorrow with temps backs to the 80s and upper 90s. A few triple digits temps will be reached once again across the Southeastern Plains. A few clouds and storms will again be possible during the afternoon and evening.

EXTENDED: Hot and mostly dry weather continue all week. Record highs for both Colorado Springs and Pueblo look a little harder to reach as the records are higher. Temps cool only slightly for the weekend with isolated showers and storms still a possibility through the second half of the day. Winds increase some over the weekend which in turn brings the potential for critical fire danger. Temps cool slightly for the start of next week as a cold front arrives.
